– In a rejoiner intercepted by Chrisdaily, which seeks to set the record straight from the camp of Hon Kwesi Biney to Hon Kojo Kum, the communication leader for Team Biney, Kakra Nketsiah declares that the “Disaster” comment by Hon Biney was not addressed to “the personality and the being of Hon Kojo Kum (Esq),” rather, “his abysmal and uninucleated performance which had become a laughing stock on the lips of the people of Ahantaland.”

The team of Hon. Kwesi Biney have taken notice of the utterance which has gone viral purporting to discredit Hon. Kwesi Biney, on his use of the word “DISASTER”, in which he was answering a question by Ngosraba Ekow Yankey. It should be noted that, the speaker’s meaning, the listener’s meaning and the writer’s meaning are not intertwined as far as the nexus of the etymological meaning of that word is concerned.

The clarity of the issue is that, as at the time that Hon. Kwesi Biney was picking his forms, the interviewer (Ekow) knew nothing about Hon. Kojo Kum (Esq) of having gone for his his forms. Indeed, he did that before Hon. Kwesi Biney did his on that said day. What is left is their filing, vetting and the primaries.

Based on that information that the team of Hon. Kwesi Biney knew and had, Ekow (who didn’t know of this information) asked, ”DO YOU THINK THE CURRENT MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT ISN’T DOING THINGS RIGHT THAT IS WHY YOU ARE CONTESTING HIM?”, he answered in the affirmative, thus the answer he gave.

We, therefore seek to make it equivocally clear without any univocation that Hon. Kojo Kum and his team cannot simply improbate and approbate the facts on the ground of an undeveloped nature of the municipality based on just an utterance without making references to the question being asked. The whole issue had to do with the exegesis of his filing which would inured to the benefits of the delegates and the Ahantaland rather than venting an opinion, based on the accolades (fantastic, lawyer 1 and among others) of his contender, which he gave in the negation opinion of his remarks and answer, that those accolades are not more than a DISASTROUS PERFORMANCE of a lawyer to propel the needed developments and that he has failed to initiate and lobby for those developments for the Ahantaland.

The personality and the being of Hon. Kojo Kum (Esq) was under no obligation whatsoever discussed and subjected to public redicule. Rather, his abysmal and uninucleated performance which had become a laughing stock on the lips of the people of Ahantaland.

We take high exception to the personality of Hon. Kwesi Biney which the team of Hon. Kojo Kum subject it to public vituperation. We would advise that, he subject his tenure and that of Hon. Kwesi Biney’s tenure to the judgment seat of developments, juxtaposing them side by side and let the good delegates of the NPP of the Ahanta West decides.
